À propos de Lena
I studied linguistics at the Pedagogical University of St. Petersburg where I obtained a PHD in teaching Russian as a foreign language in 2003. I taught Russian for foreigners at university and at an international language center in St Petersburg and then in Switzerland, Lebanon, Jordan and Australia, where I lived for 14 years.
I love music, literature and theatre. What sets me apart as a teacher is the combination of strong academic and theoretical basis with creativity and empathy.
I want to inspire people to learn something new. I delight in seeing students' progress and sharing with them my passion for the Russian language and culture.

Using modern and effective methods of teaching I always aim to bring the Russian language straight into communication while introducing the structure of the language system. As a result, you will start using the language from the first sessions while building foundations for future progress.
I teach Russian for students of all ages and language levels (from beginners to advanced).
Whether you want to learn Russian for fun or prepare for exams, I will build lessons based on your individual goals and interests.
During lessons, I also make you familiar with Russian culture (through movies, songs, cooking classes, etc.) creating a friendly and motivational atmosphere.
