À propos de Lucie
Bonjour, je m’appelle Lucie.
I was born and grew up in the Loire Valley, France, and also studied in France. I have been living in the UK for the last 20 years, where I studied, and then worked for 15 years for international organisations.
Thanks to the pandemic and all my students, who have always praised my work, I made a career change to become a full-time teacher of French. I’m now completing a Master’s in FLE after returning to university. I have 5 years of experience teaching children and adults, for various levels and needs.
I started teaching French, when I first moved to the UK as an au pair and, whilst studying and working. This helped me better understand both the English and French languages and their respective difficulties. Living abroad, both in the UK and Germany, made foreign languages more real for me and was an opportunity to learn the language skills for everyday life, and business English skills I hadn’t really learnt at school. I can put myself in the learner’s shoes and this helps me in making it my mission to teach in the most ludic ways to make learning French fun.
