I am a dedicated interdisciplinary educator with a strong background in creating inclusive, engaging, and adaptive learning environments. Throughout my in-classroom experience, I have had the privilege of working with diverse student populations, tailoring lessons to meet individual learning needs and fostering a sense of belonging and curiosity in every learner. With expertise and accreditation in Special Educational Needs (SEN) and English as an Additional Language (EAL)(competence B–E), I am committed to providing differentiated support that empowers all students to achieve their fullest potential. My pedagogical approach is grounded in enquiry-based learning, encouraging students to think critically, explore creatively, and connect their learning to the wider world. I believe in education that nurtures both academic growth and personal development—helping students become confident, compassionate, and globally minded individuals. I am now seeking to collaborate with a school or tutoring environment that shares this vision and values every student’s unique potential.

My ESL lessons are designed to be interactive, student-centred, and adaptive, ensuring that each learner feels supported, motivated, and confident as they develop their English skills. Every session blends language development with meaningful, real-world communication to help students apply what they learn beyond the classroom. Lesson Structure Each lesson typically follows a flexible framework to meet the individual needs and goals of the learner: Warm-Up and Connection (5–10 mins) We begin with a short, engaging activity—such as a discussion prompt, game, or visual stimulus—to activate prior knowledge and get students speaking in a relaxed, natural way. Language Focus (15–20 mins) The lesson then introduces or revisits a key language area (grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, or functional language). Concepts are presented through examples, visuals, and guided practice, ensuring accessibility for all learners, including those with SEN or varied language backgrounds. Skill Development (15–25 mins) Students practise the target language through communicative tasks such as dialogues, role-plays, listening comprehension, or short writing exercises. These activities often use authentic materials—articles, videos, or real-life scenarios—to build both fluency and cultural understanding. Reflection and Feedback (5–10 mins) Lessons conclude with a reflection stage where students review new language, self-assess their progress, and set goals for the next session. Constructive feedback helps them recognise strengths and identify areas for growth. Teaching Approach My teaching philosophy is guided by enquiry-based and communicative methodologies, encouraging students to explore language through curiosity, collaboration, and discovery. I differentiate instruction to accommodate different learning styles and proficiencies. Through this holistic and adaptive approach, students not only improve their linguistic competence but also build the confidence to use English meaningfully in academic, professional, and everyday contexts.
