À propos de Chourouk
I am PhD student majoring in Applied Mathematics and pursuing my studies at Sorbonne University (Paris). I started playing the piano at the age of 8. Later on I enrolled in a music institution in which I was able to develop my talent and learn solfège. When I turned 18, I started to assist my teacher and this continued until I was confident enough to teach at the institution. Moving forward to my years at the University pursuing my major in Mathematics, I switched to private tutoring and gave piano lessons in my free time. My students have shown remarkable advancement despite their young age ( as young as 6 years old ). I have also worked with an intermediate- level student who needed intensive piano lessons to keep up with his courses at the conservatoire, which turned out to be successful. I am currently a member of Fayha Choir (Suprano voice) and LeBAM Orchestra in which I play the trumpet.

My methodology is based on increasing the learner's self confidence which will eliminate the dependency on the tutor in the future. Lessons will be customized based on each individual's preferences and age. I welcome young individuals and I have a sufficient experience to work with children of young age (6-10), patience and creativity are key. The process of learning music is enjoyable and there is no specific age to start, it is never too early or too late! With my background in solfège and my experience with the choir I will give individuals some tips and tricks on how to improve their pitch.
