À propos de Carlos
I am an Educator and Researcher committed to building a more peaceful society through meaningful reflections and educational reforms. I am currently based in Leuven, Belgium.
I hold a B.A. in Philosophy and I am pursuing a Master's degree in Educational Studies at KU Leuven. Prior to this, I was enrolled with the Non-Profit Organization "Enseña por Colombia" (Teach for Colombia), where I worked, first as a teacher, and then as a member of the school board for two years. During this time, I developed a project to enhance the social skills of 1300+ students from vulnerable regions of Colombia. I have been invited to share the insights of this experience in countries like Armenia, Israel, the United States, and Brazil.
After my two years at Enseña por Colombia, I worked with the Colombian National Centre for Peace Education, and I also collaborated with Teach for All and The Schusterman Foundation, where I acquired experience in developing educational projects, facilitating teams, and working in international environments. At present, I am part of the educational staff of Eureka, a Flemish school specialized in students with learning disabilities. Eureka provides educational support to 30.000+ students nationwide. My main functions are the design of the content of the CleverKids platform and teach English classes.

As a person that finds great pleasure in reading and writing, I intend to transmit this passion to my students by learning a new language. More than learning words, learning a new language implies acquiring a new way of seeing the world.
Regardless of the level of the student, I try to create interesting and engaging classes and to make sure that the student always leaves the class with valuable insights and lessons.
