Aline is fantastic, she implements a structure to her lessons which focuses on my weaknesses as well as key skills needed to improve French. She also provides good suggestions about what I can work on in my own time. I would certainly recommend Aline if you are completely new to French (like me!) or looking to improve current knowledge.

Aline has been giving me French lessons for about 6 months with one hour-long lesson per week. She tailors lessons for me and sets two homework per week which is then quickly and efficiently marked. She has a relaxed, easy going approach. Highly recommended. Lessons are fun!

Aline has been helping me for around 18 months... I already had fluent level, but needed to maintain that during COVID, so I was looking for advanced discussion rather than structured teaching lessons. Aline has been excellent. She knows exactly when to 'let things run', and when to intervene. When the situation requires, she will change the tempo, with pertinent articles and web sources. We have discussed everything from business to cookery, tennis to travel to culture to politics, and often just banal family life and events! She is very friendly, helpful, punctual and reliable. Aline started to teach me French on weekly basis. She is very good and her lessons are interesting, she gives me plenty of encouragement which boosted my confidence.The pandemic held us up but I can honestly say even though we haven’t had a face-to-face session for 18 months my understanding of French in particular French grammar has greatly improved and I am very pleased with my oral French.
