Heya! My name's Maria — a certified educator, Russian native speaker, and lifelong language nerd who has been living in the EU for over 15 years. Teaching languages is not just my profession, but a huge part of how I connect with people and the world. Having studied in "Collège du Léman", "International School of Nice", and then later in "Ravensbourne University London" has definitely influenced my multifaceted professional endeavours as well as built my international mindset 🤍
I genuinely love helping people fall a little bit in love with one of the most notoriously difficult languages in the world. I tailor our lessons to you and teach using interactive platforms that keep things dynamic and far from boring.
I’m a very supportive, zero‑judgment kind of tutor: mistakes are celebrated, questions are encouraged, and progress happens without pressure. Russian might look intimidating at first, but with the right guidance, a bit of structure, and a lot of encouragement, it becomes not just manageable — but surprisingly fun. And I’d be more than happy to guide you through it.
Outside of the classroom, I lead a lifestyle blog where I talk about education, life abroad, mental health, feminism, queerness, spirituality, and the lessons life keeps offering. My work has been featured in both Russian‑ and English‑speaking media — milestones I’m deeply proud of as a creator!

Hey there! I’m Maria — a native Russian tutor teaching Russian to adult learners from all over the world.
I teach exclusively 1:1 lessons, focusing on real communication, confidence, and progress — without pressure or judgment. You will never be shamed for not knowing something. That’s literally why I’m here: to help!

- Game‑based learning — because students learn better when it’s engaging
