À propos d'Hajar
I am a passionate language teacher with a degree in English Studies and a 120-hour TEFL certification. I have experience teaching learners of different ages, levels, and backgrounds, both online and in the classroom.
I am now bringing my teaching experience to Moroccan Darija lessons, offering structured, professional, and personalized classes. I focus particularly on speaking, pronunciation, everyday vocabulary, and expressions that are genuinely used in Morocco.
I believe that a good teacher should not only share knowledge but also listen, encourage, and adapt to each learner. I therefore create a friendly and supportive environment where you can learn at your own pace, ask questions freely, and practice without being afraid of making mistakes.
Whether you are a complete beginner, traveler, expat, or simply curious about Moroccan language and culture, I will support you with patience and professionalism.

Hello and welcome!
I offer Moroccan Darija lessons designed for foreigners, travelers, expats, and anyone who wants to communicate more easily in Morocco. My goal is to teach you practical, natural Darija that you can actually use in everyday situations.
My teaching method focuses mainly on conversation and practice. We work on vocabulary, pronunciation, common expressions, and real-life situations. I use a simple, interactive, and progressive approach so that you can start speaking and building confidence from the very first lessons.
Each lesson is adapted to your level and goals. A typical lesson may begin with a short review, followed by new vocabulary and expressions, and then practice through dialogues and realistic situations such as introducing yourself, shopping, ordering at a restaurant, taking a taxi, asking for directions, or having everyday conversations with Moroccans.
I also help you improve your pronunciation and correct mistakes in a supportive way. When useful, I explain cultural aspects and the context behind certain expressions, so you can understand not only what to say, but also how and when to say it naturally.
My lessons are suitable for complete beginners as well as learners who already have some knowledge of Darija and want to improve their speaking skills. Whether you are preparing for a trip to Morocco, living here, or simply interested in Moroccan language and culture, we will adapt the lessons to your needs and pace.
My approach is based on patience, active practice, and encouragement. I want you to feel comfortable speaking, asking questions, and making mistakes because that is an essential part of learning.
