Who am I? I'm Xavier - a native-speaking French teacher and language enthusiast living in Porto. 36 5-star reviews from 1300+ lessons on Preply Originally from France, I’ve been traveling for the last decade and worked abroad. I lived in Ireland, Spain, Germany, Brazil and I'm currently living in Italy. Thanks to my passion for foreign languages, I know what it's like when you start learning a new one and I understand many of the struggles you may go through. That's why I've been dedicated to helping adults around the world master the understanding of native speakers for over 8 years. Using my natural method, I help adults understand French native speakers. My lessons are designed to fit your busy life, focusing on real-life conversations and practical listening exercises. My story From language learner to language teacher. My journey began with a deep love for languages, cultivated through years of travel and immersion. I found joy in helping friends and colleagues learn my mother tongue, French. This passion led me to develop my natural methods, focusing on authentic listening and conversational practice. Today, I help adults navigate the intricacies of spoken French, making language learning a natural and enjoyable part of their daily lives. I’m specialized in conversation (helping with pronunciation, listening...), because it is the verbal exchange that interests me the most and where my skills are most developed.
