À propos de Jennifer
I am 21 years old and have recently graduated from a degree in French and History from Maynooth University. I have been giving private lessons in French for almost a year and have also spent time living in Marseille, France. In my own Leaving Cert, I obtained a H1 in the Higher Level French exam and am well aware of the demands of the current French Leaving Cert course. For those simply looking to learn a new language, improve their conversational French or pick up a new hobby, I am confident that my knowledge of the French language as well as francophone culture will help.

As I am offering private lessons to students as well as those simply interested in the French language, my method of teaching will vary depending on the student's needs.
Students:
For Leaving Cert students, I will begin by holding an introductory lesson with the student to become acquainted with their level of French as well as the areas of the French course that they find most difficult. From there, I will cater my lessons to the student while ensuring a basic level of French grammar as well as written and oral comprehension in reached. I will ensure all elements of the French Leaving Cert course, including the written paper and oral/aural exams, are examined in the lessons and I have my own notes to share with students.
Non-Students:
For those who are not students, I am happy to base my classes around what the participants are aiming for whether that be simple conversational french or an advanced knowledge of French culture.

Précisions
I am working in the Kildare area and if Covid-19 restrictions allow, I am open to discussing travelling to students homes. Additional fees may apply due to travel costs (25 euro maximum). I will be moving to Toulouse in August for work so will be available exclusively online from then on.
