I am a musician who plays bass, piano and drums but specialises in guitar and audio production. I have taught over 50 students to play guitar, from beginners to advanced players. Past experience as studio guitarist with music featured on TV as well as popular recording artists.

I first help my students to get used to the guitar by doing left and right hand finger exercises. I then introduce my students to basic guitar theory concepts that will be used to practice music improvisation. I relate lesson content to the student's preferred style of music.
Beginners are able to hold a guitar comfortably as well as perform various pieces of music. Beginners will also have an entry level ability to music improvisation, allowing them to perform with other musicians by selecting appropriate chords/scales for their jams.
Intermediate guitarists who already have basic guitar abilities will receive intensive finger exercises that will allow them for greater control of the guitar. Intermediate guitarists will get better at playing in time, playing fast, playing complex chords, writing full compositions and music improv.
Advanced guitarists who already have a strong command of the guitar will be challenged with regular music composition and improv sessions. Advanced guitarists knowledge on chord theory, modes and scales will be greatly exercised as well as finger dexterity.
