À propos de Gianie
Hi, my name is Gianie, I’m bilingual in Spanish and French. I have a Master’s degree in Linguistics, specialising in Linguistics and its applications for a multilingual society, and more than 5 years’ experience as a language teacher for primary, secondary and higher education students. I’m quite familiar with the linguistic and communicative competences of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and the DELF and DALF language proficiency tests.

My goal is to simplify the language learning process for my students and to provide them with rich input and feedback for the most effective and enjoyable learning experience possible. I tend to lean towards a communicative approach but I don’t rely on a single approach because I don’t believe that one approach can fit all learning profiles. Instead, I combine and adapt as needed.
Since the main purpose of language is communication, I will encourage you to use the language for practical purposes of real life situations. Oral exposure to the language will be a key part of the lessons, as from my experience, this is the easiest way to integrate vocabulary and grammar. I will also help you become familiar not only with different topics but also with different registers.
Last but not least, you can be confident that you will find a safe and relaxed learning space where you can speak, make mistakes and ask questions freely. You can see me as a friend and partner in the fascinating adventure of learning a new language and discovering a new culture!
