Qualifications:
* BA in Foreign Languages and Literatures (Laurea in Lingue e Letterature Straniere)
* PGCE (UK Qualified Teacher Status)
* Master’s in Bilingualism in Education (University of Birmingham)
* PhD (ongoing) in Cultural Studies & Literacy (UNC Chapel Hill)
* Degree in Languages & Literature (Italy)
Fluent in Italian and English, I also speak some French and German, so I understand the challenges of learning a new language!
Availability:
* Online lessons (flexible schedule)
* Face-to-face in **Montreux area** and **Martigny** (depending on the day)
My teaching style is warm, encouraging, and structured. I aim to build confidence and help you enjoy learning Italian from the very first lesson.

Ciao! I’m Franca, a qualified and experienced Italian teacher with over 15 years of international teaching experience across Switzerland, the UK, the US, and Greece.
I currently teach Italian at a secondary level in Montreux, preparing students for A1, A2, and B2 levels, including IGCSE and A-Level pathways. I have also worked extensively in IB schools, including the Primary Years Programme (PYP), where I me suis spécialisée dans l'apprentissage par enquête et l'éducation bilingue.
