À propos de Samantha
Building bridges between cultures, languages and people is one of my greatest passions in life. Teaching a foreign language is a beautiful way to achieve that, I believe!
I studied Literature and Languages (Lettres) at university and I have more than eight years of experience in teaching English to adults and teenagers of all levels - in language schools, companies or independently. I have also been an English-Portuguese translator and consecutive interpreter in the context of conferences and events.
I have successfully prepared students for proficiency exams, such as the CAE, CPE, IELTS and TOEFL, with 100% of my pupils achieving the scores they needed.
I hold a second BA in Psychology, which has proven a great asset in helping students through their learning processes and in building a safe learning space.
My native country is Brazil, and I have spent a significant amount of time in England and Europe, for studies, work and travel. Learning languages is one of my greatest interests - I can also speak Portuguese, Spanish, French and a little Italian. I'm sure this helps build parallels with my students' mother tongues which will help them learn faster and more effectively.
I've spoken English fluently since a very young age and it has always been part of my identity. It makes me extremely happy to be able to share that with other people!
