À propos de Gemma
I am Gemma and I am a language addict. My journey began with a very "classical" high school education that taught me to love the Italian language, Ancient Greek, and Latin. Then I decided to explore the Mediterranean region and I became an Arabist,
studying in France, Tunisia, and Egypt. Once I became a CEDILS certified teacher, the pandemic brought me home, and here, in the motherland of standard Italian (Firenze), I am teaching Italian to foreigners in language schools and online.
I deeply believe that we use languages to communicate with others so you will see that my approach is very communicative and culturally rich. For me, teaching is also learning, so I will love to discover your country and your passions...in Italian!

Do you love Italian people, history and food and you would like to speak the language?
If you want to be able to interact with Italians quickly, I can give you some tips about the correct pronunciation, fundamental grammar and vocabulary, but also Italian art and folklore.
I love to create my teaching materials to adapt them to the different needs of my students. For my online classes, I use Drive applications to share materials and interact in real-time.
