À propos de Sophia
I have a MS in English Language and Literature with more than 25 years of experience teaching to teenagers, adults, and private companies.
I am passionate about helping students learn English and Spanish.
When I was a university student started by teaching to little kids and fell in love with the profession. During the past three years, I have been teaching conversational Spanish to students of all ages. I also work in a high school teaching English and Social Sciences. I look forward to helping you improve your English and Spanish oral and written expression.
Apart from Spanish, my mother language, I am also fluent in French and Catalan (I was born and raised in Barcelona, Spain)

I like to teach in a respectful and relaxed atmosphere, identifying the strengths of the student and building new knowledge from that starting point.
I will ask you what your needs are and work from there. If I don't know something, I will research the topic and discuss it with you when we meet again.
I like to keep the classes active and fun, concentrating on the communication aspect of the language. Your participation, questions, comments are always welcome!
