Hi! My name is Michael, I am a Cambridge CELTA-certified English language teacher in a college as well as an English tutor. I obtained a degree in English language and TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) from a British university. I have been teaching English in Poland and Great Britain for over 7 years. I systematically raise my qualifications by participating in training and courses for English as a second language/English as a foreign language teachers and translators.

I am a Cambridge CELTA-certified English Language teacher. I obtained a degree in English language and TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) from a British university. I am highly knowledgeable about second language acquisition, teaching methodologies, methods, and approaches. Moreover, I have taught pre-sessional courses at a university and refugee and asylum seeker ESOL classes at a college and university. I have 7 years of experience in teaching teenagers and adults (levels A1-C1+). I have prepared my students for state exams (Polish Matura exams, middle school exams, eighth grade exams) and international standardised exams (IELTS, ESOL, FCE, PET, KET). Furthermore, I tailor the classes individually to help each learner develop reading, listening, speaking and writing skills based on learning grammar and vocabulary. I adapt my teaching approach to your learning style based on theoretical knowledge such as second language acquisition and teaching methodologies. In my classes, I share and use my own materials, as well as books published by Express Publishing, Oxford University Press, and language and multimedia applications (e.g., Netflix, TED). When doing conversational exercises, I emphasize naturalness and help learners use their language skills more confidently, bearing in mind the accuracy or fluency of speech.
I am open to new people from all over the world. Besides, I have communication skills that make it easy to make new friends. I am passionate about the English language and culture of English speaking countries, which makes learning with me a pleasure.
