I’ve worked with both kids, teenagers and adults, helping students learn Chinese in a clear, fun, and structured way. My Teaching Approach As a professionally trained educator with both bachelor and Master’s degree in Education (specialized in teaching) from the University of Hong Kong, I bring a structured but flexible approach to language teaching. I focus on building a strong foundation in listening, speaking, reading, and writing, using a communicative and student-centered method. I adapt my lessons to suit each learner's needs, interests, and goals. Teaching Techniques & Methods I use interactive teaching techniques such as role play, real-life dialogues, visual aids, and cultural references to make learning engaging and practical. I also incorporate pronunciation drills, vocabulary-building activities, and grammar explanations—always with clear support in English when needed. For younger learners, I use games and storytelling to make lessons fun and effective. A typical course includes: Needs analysis and level assessment Tailored lesson plans based on the student's goals (e.g. HSK, daily conversation, business Chinese) Integrated practice in all four skills (speaking, listening, reading, writing) Regular feedback and progress tracking For HSK students, I follow the official structure and provide targeted exam preparation materials and mock tests.
