À propos de Zaid
I've been teaching Arabic for two years (in Belgium and Turkey) and English (in Iraq and Turkey) for over 3 years, meeting over 40 students from different parts of the world.
During my teaching experience, I've prepared students to sit the English Toeffel exams as well as teach the Arabic alphabet, grammar and idioms to students eager to learn the language. Their level of proficiency varied but the majority reached a conversational level of proficiency within months of classes! I should also add that I differentiate all arabic dialects in the MENA region, from Iraq to Egypt and I have an excellent command of Fus'ha (classical) arabic.

In a nutshell, I am an Iraqi musician from Mossoul with an English degree (linguistics, literature, education) and a burning passion for film.
I am also an enthousiastic, friendly and informal Arabic teacher with extensive experience teaching English and Arabic to students (beginners to advanced) in Turkey and Belgium.
My teaching method combines oral and written exercises on a variety of topics adapted to my students' interests (whether it is culture, music, sports, history, politics - you name it!). I am flexibile as to the style of teaching, as long as the class is enjoyable, interactive and fruitfful. Being myself a french language student, trust me, I understand the importance of actually enjoying the learning experience. :)
